The Iceland Restaurant Guide is a great resource to find restaurants, cafés and bars in Iceland and Reykjavik. Browse through our guide before your trip, and map out all the food stops on the way. Or if you are already in Iceland or Reykjavik, use the app to guide you around the city and countryside if you are feeling more spontaneous. The Iceland Restaurant Guide features two view modes; a list mode and a map mode. In list mode you can sort in alphabetical order or after type of place (Restaurant, Bar or Café) listed in order of distance from your current location. In map mode you can see the filter you chose in list mode represented on the map. This is useful if you just want to take a wander around Reykjavik and explore. You can also use the Iceland Restaurant Guide to save your favorite places for later using my favorites function. This can be useful if you find a cool place in Iceland or Reykjavik that you want to save for later, or share with friends. Each place also has a "find route function" which can be great if you are using your android phone as a GPS. Just press the button and it will open up directions in Google Maps so you can find that great obscure diner in the middle of Iceland or the backstreets of Reykjavik. If you are a solo traveller or a group of friends you can download our app and create a user. You can see what your fellow travellers are drinking and eating, and strike up a conversation. You can either create your own login or use your existing Facebook account. Who knows, you might find a friend for life while enjoying some Icelandic lamb or fish! You can see who is close by which can even be fun when you are back home as you can connect with other people after your trip in your hometown and share stories. Please enjoy our app
