You can go through all Hitchwiki Maps hitch-hiking markers, get Google navigation instructions from your position to markers, and see them all through Augmented Reality
based view.
Once you hit the road, point your Android device down the road and see hitch-hiking spots through Augmented Reality view as they appear projected in a real world around
you. Or use classic Google maps approach.
