From September 22nd to 25th of September, the Barcelona club will open the doors of its Olympic venues for the 105th edition of the oldest international sporting event in
Spain. For four days more than 50,000 spectators will enjoy the best riding moments in Barcelona at this spectacular event.

Following the dispute of the various world leagues the provisional list of countries participating in the fourth Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup TM are: Australia, Austria,
Belgium, Brasil, Colombia, Egypt, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, México, Netherland, Sweden, Switzerland, USA and Spain. This year’s Olympic medallists
France, United States and Germany will try to maintain supremacy in a competition that has all the right ingredients to become the most exciting equestrian event of the
season. It seems that the teams will come up with their best competitors to face the competition with guaranteed success. The top ten of the world will attend this event
which will open on Thursday September 22nd at 11am with the Coca-Cola Trophy.
Fursiyya Final, Longines Challenge Cup, Queen’s Cup- Segura Viuda Trophy and Longines Cup of the City of Barcelona
Besides the three team competitions (the qualifier, the Longines Challenge Cup and the Furusiyya Grand Final), the CSIO Barcelona 2016 completes its program with six other
individual competitions, including Queen’s Cup - Segura Viudas Trophy and the traditional Longines Cup of the City of Barcelona, as a climax of the competition on Sunday

PoloPark, the new recreational space of the CSIO Barcelona
One of the main innovations of the CSIO Barcelona 2016 will be the new PoloPark, a festival of creative experiences, new trends, food and entertainment under the slogan
“FOOD, FUN & JUMP!” During the four days of the competition the Polo Field, one of the largest green spaces in the city, will become a zone housing a variety of
proposals catering to all audiences, including activities such as the popular Pony Park; the Kids Park play area; a wide selection of quality cuisine at Foodie Fest;
Market areas and Brand Village shopping; Horse & Rider area, where you can find all kinds of equestrian products; all brought to live with music and live shows every
day at the hand of up and coming artists.
Gastronomy and entertainment
Furthermore, as is tradition, the CSIO Barcelona will offer its attractive panoramic restaurant with a suggestive tasting menu with which to enjoy the midday competitions.
For Friday and Saturday evenings, coinciding with the dispute for the Longines Challenge Cup and the Furusiyya Grand Final, the organization is scheduled to hold two
spectacular dinners and various shows. While Friday night will be capitalized by SEAT, Furusiyya also wanted to promise a lot of excitement even after the competition ends
on Saturday. In addition, three times over the weekend CSIO Barcelona will present the magnificent show of Santi Serra with his horses Sponsored by Estrella Damm. (For

Support for the needy
Once again, the event is supporting Fundación Privada de Oncología Infantil Enriqueta Villavecchia (Enriqueta Villavecchia Children's Oncology Foundation). All proceeds
from the sale of tickets for the Pony Park event, which this year also has the support of Massimo Dutti, will go entirely to the foundation, whose main objective is the
comprehensive coverage of the needs of youth and childhood cancer patients in Catalonia, as well as support for their families. Moreover, the CSIO Barcelona supports
Mary's Meals, which fights for all children to receive a nutritious meal every day in school, and ADE, an association that fights to defend equines and small animals.
