Get notified of hail warnings in your area.
Data source: National Weather Service (weather.gov)
Data use:
Each update fetches around 5kb of data (secure, compressed).
Background checks - if enabled - are made once per hour between 6am and midnight.
Permissions:
full network access, approximate location: used to fetch updated data, and detect rough location to filter the results.
run at startup, control vibration, prevent device from sleeping: used to check data feed in the background and notify you of new alerts.
Privacy: no data is uploaded. No ads in this app.
Accessibility: I have made an effort to optimize a11y, feedback is appreciated.
Feedback: There is a feedback option in the app via doorbell.io (top right) if you have any problems or suggestions.
